Questions about this calculator

How is the number of months worked out?

Month by month, your income is added to your money and your costs are taken away. Income can grow by the percentage you enter. The count stops at 120 months.

What counts as a monthly cost?

Anything you pay every month to keep going: rent, tools and software, insurance, salaries and your own pay. Costs you pay once belong in the startup budget.

Does it work in my currency?

The currency choice changes only the symbol. No exchange rate is used, so enter every amount in the same currency.

Is the answer a forecast?

No. It is a simple sum on the numbers you enter. Real months differ, so work it out again when your numbers change.
